Indianapolis Indiana is home to the Famous namesake Speedway.However it is temporarily becoming a music haven where industry heads will to flock to mid August for the midwest’s newest music conference second only to Mobfest in size.The Midwest Music Sumitt (Benchmark Records)is an annual conference that showcases some of the area’s upcoming breakthrough talent.This year the summit boasts some heavy hitters including the FEMALE fronted Chicago based band GRIGORI 3.
GRIGORI 3 was one of this years bands that was hand picked from over 2,000 entries. The band is scheduled to be featured in No Name’s own showcase during the event.
The past few months the band has been receiving alot of industry attention due in part to thier inclusion on this years upcoming undreground release from Resurrection M. Pictures “TRISTE EDAD” (due out in fall 2004.)”This band’s sound is like no other I heard-it is dark yet hard hitting and upbeat”-Votsos/RESURRECTION M. PICTURES/TRAGIC POETS.
GRIGORI 3 has been featured on underground radio stations and playlists worldwide for some time however only recently did GRIGORI 3’s hard hitting goth industrial metal music begin really assaulting Chicago (including thier recent performance at the infamous DOUBLE DOOR.)The upcoming band has begun to get more press and also been recently been linked with various favorite underground publications including Gothic Beauty,OutBurn,MK Magazine as well as SWAG.

The band will be performing at the famed EMERSON THEATRE in INDIANAPOLIS,IN on Saturday afternoon Aug 14th at 1:30pm ( day 3 of the conference.)
